HARP Funeral Services is the coming together of three well-known and respected existing family businesses who names are synonymous with tradition, service and professionalism in the local communities they serve.
Raymond Iles & Sons was established in 1985 and for three generations has provided the highest standards of care for those who have chosen its services. In 2003 it joined with Allan & Derek Davies Funeral Services and since 2008 has been associated with Alfred James & Sons whose roots date back to 1856, making it the oldest and most established business in the borough.
Together, at HARP Funeral Services we have many years experience in serving all faiths within the local community and because we appreciate the difficulties of bereavement, we aim to provide a personal service which is why we provide an out of hours emergency call out service, three hundred and sixty five days a year.
As a family-owned company, we care and endeavour to bring as much normality as possible when everything feels far from normal and very stressful for our clients. At the same time, we pride ourselves on our outstanding professionalism which is reflected in our growing reputation as the lead provider of funeral services in the area.

Usually, the funeral arrangements are discussed in your own home where people feel most comfortable and at ease. However, if preferred, relatives and friends can attend our premises where they are guaranteed a warm, relaxed reception in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. We have every facility required to provide the highest standard of care and service, and, if required, we are able to conduct the funeral service in one of our own funeral homes.
We rely greatly on word of mouth recommendations which we feel are most important, and grieving relatives can be assured of our constant personal support and care throughout the bereavement.
